Capability & Engineering Review
What it is
This is a plastic enclosure for a 4-in-1 multi-function device, in the consumer-electronics and home-appliance appearance-parts category. Injection molding is the primary process; in the finished product the enclosure serves four functions at once — housing internal components, providing assembly location, organising airflow and cable routing, and carrying the product’s external appearance.
Structural features visible in the product photo
The part has a softened, “square with rounded corners” form. A matte dark-grey body carries an off-white translucent panel at its centre. Four countersunk screw bosses sit at the corners, horizontal louver-type grilles run symmetrically along two sides, an interface panel with connector openings sits on one face, and a circular foot supports the base. The construction reads as an upper and lower shell joined together.
Manufacturing capability
The part is developed on in-house tooling design and manufacturing. The toolroom runs wire EDM, jig grinding, surface grinding, form grinding, CNC machining centres and EDM, forming a complete precision machining chain. On the molding side, 20 in-house machines combine all-electric, servo and vertical presses; coordinated 100–2000T trial and production resources are available, and larger tools can be trialled on large-tonnage machines.
Integrated finishing
After molding, spray coating, silk-screen printing, pad printing, electroplating and anodizing can be integrated. Where a soft-touch or sealing effect is needed, two-shot / over-molding can also be completed within the same system, cutting out multi-supplier coordination and the quality handover risk it brings.
